Why is Daddy Crying?

One Family’s Excruciating Battle with Mental Illness

Meeting the challenges of loving a person

with mental illness  A special presentation by…

Steven & Robyn Bloem

Authors of Broken Minds”

This presentation is designed to provide support, encouragement,

connections and tools for family members and

friends of people with mental illness.

Steve and Robyn Bloem share their story candidly in their book,

Broken Minds, “Hope For Healing When You Feel

Like You're Losing It.”

Please consider having us give this presentation in your church or ministry.

The Bloem’s will share their story discussing some struggles with mental illness, including…

getting into treatment,

receiving appropriate treatment,

the agony of delaying treatment,

the stigma of mental illness,

the demoralization that comes from mental illness, and

God's purpose for us and helping us in mental illness.

Steve and Robyn will also address three basic and erroneous views among Christians, including…

the differentials of demonism and depression,

mental illness viewed as moral issue not a chemical problem, and

mental illness as anger turned inward.

This presentation can be given in your church or place of ministry. Please don't take the prevailing perspective which the church is often guilty of as seen in the photo below.
