Why do we Exist?

   - For Christ-centered advocacy

for those who have  mental illness and

their caregivers

      -For skillful compassion toward

those who are depressed /

mentally ill.

       - For comforting those are experiencing

severe grief and loss

        of worship, work or group and present a seminar that

 is tailored to your needs.

What Do We Do?

• Crisis stabilization of those who are  mentally ill including risk assessment of harm

           to themselves others.

• Supportive and Behavioral counseling

• Referrals and linkage to churches and community helping agencies

• Consultation with and training of pastors and lay counselors for effective ministry to

           the bereaved and mentally ill. 

• Educating by seminars, books and in-the-field training. 
• Speaking on suffering/glory themes in  the Bible

Heartfelt Counseling Ministries Financial Fact Sheet                                                        We are a 501 © (3) tax exempt organization.  We have a board of directors.  The ExecutiveDirector is accountable to them, and they set his salary. We are funded in two basic ways; (1) Donations  are given by churches, and individuals.  Because of our tax free status, donations can be claimed with the IRS as income tax deductions. 

 2 Corinthians 8:15, “As it is written, he that gathered {manna} much had nothing left over and he that had gathered little had no lack." Our starting counseling price per hour is about half the price of most  counselors. It is $60.00 an hour. 

There also may be ancillary charges when linking with proof of income may be required.       Payments will be accepted by cash, checks, or credit card. Payment is due after each session.

 Mental Illness Support Groups

• CAMI (Christians Afflicted with Mental Illness) support groupwill be held at the         Rockford Baptist Church, 221 Courtland Street Rockford, MI 49341 . 

•  We meet the first and third Sunday of every month.
• It will be 1 -½ hours in length.

          Robyn and I will be using our own (CAMI) material. 

• This is a group where  important subject matters regarding mental

           illness will be   introduced and studied.
