Heartfelt Counseling Ministries

Financial Fact Sheet

Heartfelt Counseling Ministries does not receive any money or funding from the Federal, State or local governments.  This includes Medicare and Medicaid. We also at this time are not reimbursed by any type of insurance.

However, we are a 501 © (3) tax exempt organization.  We have a board of directors.  The Executive Director is accountable to them, and they set his salary.

We are funded in two basic ways; (1) Donations given by churches, and individuals.  Because of our tax free status, donations can be claimed with the IRS as income tax deductions.  2) A counseling-fee, donation is recommended.

The Biblical teaching is that those in the church of Jesus Christ who have are to share with those who have little. As Paul says in  2 Corinthians 8:15, “As it is written, he that gathered {manna} much had nothing over and he that had gathered little had no lack.”   Our starting counseling price per hour is about half the price of most counselors.

It is $60.00 an hour.

An intial exam is usually 1 hour and 15

minutes and therefore would be $75.00.

We are a non-profit so no one should feel

they cannot obtain services

There also may be ancillary charges when linking with

Proof of income may be required.

Payments will be accepted by cash, checks, or credit card. Payment is due after each session.

Phone counseling is available at the same rate anywhere in United States of America

Email rates – flat rate – $20.00 for professional advice/co

Mental Illness Support Groups conducted by Steve and Robyn Bloem Authors of Broken Minds

CAMI (Christians Afflicted with Mental Illness) group will be held at the Rockford Baptist Church, 221 Courtland Street Rockford, MI 49341

We meet the first and third Sunday of every month.

It will be 1 -½ hours in length.  There will be no charge but a Study Guide should be purchased for six dollars.

Robyn and I will be using our own (CAMI) material.  This is a group where important subject matters regarding mental illness will be introduced and studied.

  • A key purpose for having this group is to make it possible for mentally ill persons and their loved ones to get the support that they need.

Please call—Pre-registration is required.       616.447.9064
