FAQ
Q: How does your counseling differ from other pastors
and therapists?
A: I have had great success in helping people with mental illness such as
bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, panic, obessive compulsive
Disorder, etc. Because of my education and extensive training
I can do crisis stablization as well as on going therapy. Often I
provide linkage to a psychopharmacologist (psychiatrist) who will
be able to prescribe the right medication to arrest the mental illness.
Q - What problems do you see in the modern day counseling movement?
A. Many modern day therapists, psychologists and social workers
still look for the underlying problem in mental illness. In many cases
there is no such problem. Mental illness is a disease. Many times
modern day counselors lack the needed expertise and the client
has many sessions and spends large amounts of money, without getting
the full orbed treatment they need.
